The police

The question is the police had a search warrent for my home and searched it and then the next day my landord called the police and asked what happened wich was a friend of his(sherrif) he he told him yes that i had pill bottles all over my house not true..And that i had matresses all over there was one in the living room for the kids to watch t.V. And then the sherriff told him he was calling child services..Is there anything i can do?Likr deflimation of character because all this came on from the police because they work looking for friends of my husband.

I would agree with the previous response. Also, I have seen situations where individuals focus on civil claims they may have and ignore the criminal issues. What usually ends up happening is that the criminal case suddenly becomes a priority when there is a realization that the individual might go to jail. Don't wait until its too late.
 
 
First, defend yourself. When all is done and you come out with flying colors....then see about suing if they ultimately found nothing wrong about your place....take pictures
