My wife is an illegal alien
Posted by Anonymous . updated on 8/14/2008
She came here to visit me and on thing led to another and we got married two months later. I want her to be legal here but I'm not sure what to do -- we can't afford to leave the country and if we did, we'd lose practically everything. Is there a way over a year after the fact to apply for legal status without having to leave the country?

We understand. Your situation is like that of many of our clients. Did your wife enter the U.S. with inspection? Did she receive an I-94 Arrival/Departure Record? Please specify if you are a U.S. Citizen. What Country is your wife from?
