Hipa Law violations
Posted by Anonymous . updated on 7/21/2008
I was recently at a large retailers pharmacy dept. the pharmacist on duty refused to fill my prescription, and openly admitted to having personal beliefs against the medication. She also disclosed personal information loudly enough that several other customers heard her saying that I needed to continue my drug treatment in a liscensed facility, this was clearly heard by other customers who live in the town, where my children go to school, and I own a business. All of her comments were directly related to my drug addiction, as well as some other extremely private information. How do I file a complaint with hepa? And was she in fact in violation of those laws?
