Legal Professionals working through LegalForce on hourly projects will be paid every Friday for work performed and approved the previous week. For fixed price projects, payment will be made upon completion of the project, although installment payments can also be worked out between you and your Legal Employer.

What about taxes?
As a Legal Employer, you do not need to pay any additional taxes if you're purchasing services through LegalForce. U.S.-based Legal Professionals fill out a W-9 form and 1099s are provided at the end of the year. International Legal Professionals and Organizations are responsible for reporting their earnings to the appropriate tax agencies.
