The first thing you need to do is post a profile and fill in your past work history and skills. You should be as specific as possible. You can then invite previous employers to provide feedback of your previous work using our Get Rated feature. You can also build your knowledge base and improve your skill set by taking LegalForce training courses and assessment tests on a variety of legal topics. After that, start applying for jobs!

How long does it take to get a job?
Getting the first job is always the hardest because you do not yet have a feedback rating from previous Legal Employers. LegalForce makes this easy by providing you the opportunity to invite previous employers you worked for, prior to registering with LegalForce, an invitation to provide feedback on your previous jobs. It is also very important to make your profile as detailed as possible, highlighting your previous experience, skilss, and areas of expertise. Writing thoughtful and specific cover letters will also help. In addition, LegalForce offers training courses covering a varierty of legal subject matters. Taking these courses and passing the assessment tests will help potential employers better evaluate your qualifications. If you do all of the above you should be able to get a job within 1-4 weeks.

Also make sure your profile is complete and as detailed as possible by listing past jobs as well as the duties you had and the skills you learned. What is the difference between hourly and fixed price jobs?
For an hourly job, Legal Professionals are payed an hourly rate for each hour worked. For a fixed priced Job, Legal Professionals are payed a fixed price for the entire project, regardless of the number of hours worked. LegalForce makes it easy to select and get paid using either option.
