This is farcical. Is our solution to a world increasingly influenced by the utterly irrelevant simply to push it to as far as the pendulum can swing? So, Boalt has more handsome men but fewer BMWs than at USC -- or vice versa -- this tells us what? I have a sense of humor, but this fails to animate it.

Berkeley Law students have unbelievably varied interests and experience. What I love most about Boalt is that people don't flaunt their resumes. Everybody is clearly competent, yet almost every student recognizes that we are early in our careers and no matter how "cool" our jobs were in the past, none of us is so great that our fellow students should be awestruck in our presence.

The varied interests of Berkeley Law students leads to a laid-back attitude and minimized competition - we're not all gunning for the same corporate jobs. The intellectual environment is rich, while the hubris is low (generally...there are always exceptions) and I love studying here.

Outstanding quality of professors  and students. Worth mentioning is the Center for the Study of Law and Society for its excellent research, events and PhD-program.

The intellectual diversity at Berkeley Law is incredible...from Professor David Caron to Professor John Yoo...with Professor Guzman in between -- amazing faculty.

What makes Boalt special is that it is connected to the University of California, Berkeley, with the finest professors on the west coast and perhaps in the world. It's about collaboration.
