The best part about UVA Law is the atmosphere. The students are driven but not to the point of having no fun. They're competitive but not backstabbers. They work together, pull each other up, and genuinely want everyone to succeed. The faculty are part of that, too. They will do everything in their power to ensure that their students succeed. Even if you don't like the "softball and beer" attitude at UVA Law, the fact that students at a top notch law school have TIME and DESIRE for such things (or for hiking, community service, pro bono, Libel Show, etc.) is a testament that UVA Law is hardworking AND interested in the whole person. Graduates from UVA Law make lifelong friends there. It's quite astonishing. (I saw this over and over again when I worked there for 6 years!)

I didn't realize that UVa was the greatest law school until working at a firm this summer. No student at another T14 school had the type of academic and social experience that we have here. Interestingly, all the other summer associates agreed.

An excellent school with a diversity of intellectual interests, all taught at a top notch level, dedicated professors, motivated students, a ton of inner beauty and a variety of vehicles in the parking lot!

UVA is a great law school and has a great environment for learning. I could not imagine being anywhere else.

UVA is the best law school. It's fun...it's challenging, but most of all the people are awesome.
