Aided clients through green card, labor certification, visa, and the citizenship application processes.  Wrote motions, pleadings, and correspondence.  Developed case files and aided in negotiations for personal injury cases.  Performed research for appellate briefs being submitted to the First Circuit and Board of Immigration Appeals.

Edited pieces received from contributors, researched cases that are to be presented, and wrote brief overviews and memos describing the conclusions of the research.  All work was for a book edited by the professor and covering Supreme Court cases dealing with individual liberties.  The book is under contract.

Authored coverage opinions for commercial accounts, including opinions based on general liability, property, crime, and auto coverages.  Authored training manual for personnel on UM/UIM legal issues.  Reviewed and researched article written by outside counsel regarding whether carrier may be reimbursed by insured for legal expenses.  

Researched deans of law schools.  Compared male and female deans .  Studied ABA and AALS accreditation of law schools, religious affiliations of law schools, and ethnic/minority composition of law school administrations.  All work is for a forthcoming book on the making of female lawyers and  impact of legal education on females .

Provide legal research services for the justices.  Draft findings of fact, research memoranda, memoranda of decision, and judgments, while working in collaboration with justices.  Rotated through the Barnstable, Middlesex, and Worcester Divisions and had regular contact with the judges of the Plymouth Division.
