Law School Review - University of Virginia School of Law: The best part about UVA Law is the atmosphere. The students are driven but not to the point of having no fun. They're competitive but not backstabbers. They work together, pull each other up, and genuinely want everyone to succeed. The faculty are part of that, too. They will do everything in their power to ensure that their students succeed. Even if you don't like the "softball and beer" attitude at UVA Law, the fact that students at a top notch law school have TIME and DESIRE for such things (or for hiking, community service, pro bono, Libel Show, etc.) is a testament that UVA Law is hardworking AND interested in the whole person. Graduates from UVA Law make lifelong friends there. It's quite astonishing. (I saw this over and over again when I worked there for 6 years!)
