• Successfully represented the American Association of Retired Person Pharmacy Services as lead amicus curia counsel in a litigation addressing the constitutionality of a local law that was being applied to prohibit mail-order pharmacy in the jurisdiction. The law was declared unconstitutional in its application and mail-order pharmacy was therefore allowed in the jurisdiction. See National Pharmacies, Inc. v. Feliciano-de-Melecio, 221 F. 3d 235 (1st Cir. 2000).
• Successfully represented Perfumania, Inc. as lead trial counsel in a trademark infringement case that Perfumania filed. After trial, a permanent injunction was issued in Perfumania's favor. See Perfumania, Inc. v. Perfulandia, Inc., 279 F. Supp. 2d 86 (D.P.R. 2003).
• Successfully assisted in the representation of a wholly owned subsidiary of Schering Plough Corporation as lead trial counsel in a sexual harassment case that was dismissed by the entry of summary judgment a few days before the trial was scheduled to begin. See Lee Crespo v. Schering Plough del Caribe, Inc., --F.3d --, 2003 WL 23095261 (1st Cir. 2003).
• Successfully represented one of the prior owners of a Ritz Carlton property as lead trial counsel in a defamation case filed by the owner against a person that was trying to defame the client's good name and reputation. After trial, judgment was entered in the client's favor. See Pages v. Feingold, 928 F. Supp. 148 (D.P.R. 1996).
• Successfully represented a wholly owned subsidiary of General Electric as lead trial counsel in the defense of a breach of contract case filed against said subsidiary. After trial, a judgment was entered in the client's favor.
• Successfully represented the owner of a class A building as lead trial counsel in a breach of contract case filed against the client by one of the major banks of Spain. Client countersued and ended up collecting a seven figure amount from the bank. A few months later, the bank engaged Jesús to represent it in a matter relating to a high profile controversy.
• Successfully represented a Major League baseball player as lead trial counsel in a breach of contract case filed against client. After filing and prosecuting a counterclaim on client's behalf, client ended up with a judgment that entitled the client to collect a seven figure amount.
• Successfully represented minority stockholder of a number of construction companies as lead trial counsel against the companies' majority stockholder. After trial, judgment was entered in client's favor and awarded a 30% ownership interests in the construction companies.
• Successfully represented a health care public company as lead trial counsel in the prosecution of a breach of contract filed against its distributor. Client ended up collecting a seven-figure amount.
