Law School Review - University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall): Berkeley Law students have unbelievably varied interests and experience. What I love most about Boalt is that people don't flaunt their resumes. Everybody is clearly competent, yet almost every student recognizes that we are early in our careers and no matter how "cool" our jobs were in the past, none of us is so great that our fellow students should be awestruck in our presence. The varied interests of Berkeley Law students leads to a laid-back attitude and minimized competition - we're not all gunning for the same corporate jobs. The intellectual environment is rich, while the hubris is low (generally...there are always exceptions) and I love studying here.
