Prior to establishing his current practice at the prestigious California Criminal Defense Center, Mr. Fakhimi amassed a wealth of criminal trial experience while employed for six years by the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. He has been the designated staff attorney in various Southern California courtrooms as a felony attorney, misdemeanor attorney, domestic violence attorney, and juvenile dependency attorney. He has practiced as a full time attorney in each of these areas, exclusively, at different stages of his career. His practice, therefore, places a very strong emphasis in the areas of felonies, misdemeanors, drunk-driving, drugs, domestic violence, theft offenses, and juvenile
dependency.
In addition to the wide range of criminal cases accepted by his office, much of Mr. Fakhimi’s practice is devoted to DUI and other drug and alcohol related offenses. As a member of many nationally recognized organizations devoted to DUI defense, Mr. Fakhimi stays abreast of the most recent changes in DUI law as well as the science behind DUI cases. He has conducted lectures on a variety of DUI issues and stays proactive in the DUI legal community.
Mr. Fakhimi has an in-depth understanding of the proper use, maintenance and functionality of the leading breath-alcohol device used by California law enforcement agencies. He has acquired the Police Officer Standardized Training Certification in the use and maintenance of this device by the leading expert in the field.
Mr. Fakhimi practices DUI & Criminal Defense throughout Southern California and meets with clients in the 40 office locations of California Criminal Defense Center.
