Neil Rambin, the Managing Partner of Sedgwick's Dallas office, is a civil trial attorney with 25 years of experience representing clients in the areas of complex commercial insurance litigation, insurance coverage disputes, extra-contractual claims, disputes between insurance and reinsurance companies and toxic tort litigation.

As the Chairman of Sedgwick's Insurance Industry Team, Mr. Rambin coordinates the firm's representation of a diverse base of insurance clients in Sedgwick's domestic and international offices. Mr. Rambin's practice is national in scope and includes serving as national coordinating counsel for clients on specialized claims and issues. He has also successfully managed the defense of product manufacturers in "mass tort" litigation involving claims of exposure to asbestos and silica throughout Texas.
Litigation Matters
A representative sampling of Mr. Rambin's litigation accomplishments includes:
* Jury verdict of no liability for claim of fraud and bad faith against property insurance carrier; * Successful jury verdict for defendant in suit over a computer software licensing agreement; * Successful arbitration of dispute regarding insurance policy interpretation resulting in a determination of no coverage on a $10 million claim; * Jury verdict of no liability for claims of toxic chemical injury made by multiple claimants; * Entry of summary judgment for a third party administrator on a $7.6 million professional liability claim; and * Entry of summary judgment for reinsurer based upon accord and satisfaction defense.
Affiliations, Activities and Accomplishments
Mr. Rambin is the former Chairman of the Extra-Contractual Liability Section of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, ARIAS-US, the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas Bar Foundation. Mr. Rambin has received numerous recognitions, including being named a "Texas SuperLawyer" by Texas Monthly .
While attending law school, Mr. Rambin was the notes and comments editor for the Baylor Law Review and a member of the Order of the Barristers.
