PAUL H. GREENWOOD is an Associate in the Birmingham office and is a member of the Creditors Rights & Bankruptcy and Litigation Practice Groups. He represents a variety of corporate and individual clients in bankruptcy cases, commercial litigation, loan workouts and the enforcement and execution of judgments.
Mr. Greenwood’s practice includes providing banks and other creditors advice regarding the foreclosure and resale of real estate, particularly with issues involving title, rights of competing lienholders and rights of redemption. His recent practice has included:

Representing lender in $12 million real estate mortgage loan workout, including the negotiation of releases and assignments in order to resell property.

Representing lender in workout and forbearance agreements with Alabama Gulf Coast developer, involving negotiation with subcontractors and owners’ association.

Advising hedge fund investor regarding the purchase of notes and mortgages from banks on discounted basis.
