Description:
Relevant Legal Degree (LLB) or Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Software, Organic Chemistry or Biotechnology or other equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years experience with an IP law firm or LPO, with hands-on experience in drafting patents and drafting Responses to Office Actions and/or patent prosecution. Experience and relevant education in USA patent filings and Office Action a definite advantage. The successful candidate will need to display good expertise on law and procedure relating to patents, excellent patent drafting skills, and effective skills in handling patent prosecution and drafting Responses to Office Actions.
Experience in other areas of IP and the law is a distinct advantage.
Strong organizational, analytical and professional skills. Ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be highly motivated, exhibit proactive responsibility, and self-disciplined.
Fluency in spoken and written English, with superior writing skills.
