Job Description: The Compliance Coordinator will work closely with the Compliance Director, General Counsel and VP or Franchise Systems to monitor franchise compliance issues. Franchise Compliance Management: -Track activities and generate compliance reports on a weekly basis. Reports include Gross Commission Income, Growth, Deficiencies/Defaults, Regional Development Schedule, Applications in Process, 36-Month Territory Adjustments, Associate Count, and other compliance elements as stated in the Franchise Agreement. -Draft for review and send correspondence to franchisees, typically with respect to deficiencies or defaults and respective deadlines. Follow up via phone and email as necessary. -Assist with the review and processing of new franchisee applications, Market Center transfers and renewals, and other related applications. Monitor status of application review process and communicate to the field and management as necessary. Roster Management: Create new Market Center and Business Center records in the company White Pages. Interact daily with Regional Representatives to maintain current information on Market Centers and process change requests. Communicate changes in Market Center and Regional Representative leadership to the staff of the International office. UFOC Preparation: Research and compile information for various Sections of the company’s UFOC. (This should not be viewed as an exhaustive list of job responsibilities.) Experience Required: -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (2-4 years experience in compliance or franchising fields) -Legal secretary or paralegal experience a plus Skills and Attitude: -Assist Compliance team with preparation, review and transmittal of documents and other correspondence.
